What is the Virtual Band?

Some of you have asked what the virtual band is. It's really simple. The March of Dimes has set up a way for individuals, organizations, etc to honor or commemorate premature infants virtually. To do so, they've designed what is called the Virtual Band. You can view ours here.

Once the band is created, it's placed on the March of Dimes site. Individuals can then donate to the March of Dimes on behalf of the child or children the band was created for. It's a really simple process and all donations are made directly to the March of Dimes via the band. They do not go through a third party, etc.
